Here’s the secret behind how Aamir shed 17 kg for ‘Dangal’
Bollywood star Aamir Khan has revealed the strict diet plan and routines he had followed for building the wrestler Mahaveer Phogat’s body for his super hit movie ‘Dangal’ in the foreword of a recently launched a book on weight loss. Aamir Khan launched the book ‘Fat-Loss Diet’ written by Dr Nikhil V Dhurandhar in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Aamir recalls in the foreword how he trusted Dr Nikhil’s father Dr Vinod Dhurandhar as a dietician and nutritionist for his requirement for movies. Unfortunately, Dr Vinod was unable to help him when he committed ‘Dangal’. To his relief, Dr Nikhil came to his rescue.
Aamir explains in detail about the systematic diet plans he followed under the guidance of Dr Nikhil. He informed the doctor about what he had for each meal and the exact quantity of each item. This continued for about five months.
Finally, the actor managed to shed about 17 kg of weight and build a fit and perfect body of a wrestler by the time he wanted to play the role. He also endorses Dr Nikhil as a good nutritionist. The book deals with the preparations for diet, diet plans, fat loss maintenance and other areas.
