Dr. Sunil P Ilayidom has bagged this year’s Mahakavi Ulloor Memorial Literary Award instituted by Ulloor Service Cooperating Bank.
The award was given for his work ‘Mahabharatham Samskarika Charithram’ (Mahabharatham Cultural History). The award includes a cash prize of Rs 10,001. Meanwhile, Dr. Jessy Narayanan received the Jury’s special mention for his study on Ulloor’s book titled ‘Pingala’.
Ulloor Service Cooperating Bank President Professor VN Muraleedharan Pillai informed that the award distribution will take place in Thiruvananthapuram in February.
