Use neem oil insecticide in gardens

Experts point out that neem oil and various home techniques combined together could protect plants from rising pest attacks. But excess use of this may cause adverse effects too. Neem oil can be sprayed at plants by mixing 10 ml of oil in one litre of water.
What is needed to make an insecticide is 5 to 10 ml of neem oil, 2.5 gm of bar soap and 1 litre of water. Firstly, make the bar soap into bits and dissolve in one litre of water. Add neem oil to this and mix thoroughly. Keep it aside for 8 hours and then spray it on plants.
