Banana peel as a growth booster for plants
Banana peel is usually thrown away carelessly to the dust bin. In fact, banana peel can be used as a perfect manure for the kitchen gardens. It contains potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, sodium, manganese and sulfur.
To use banana peel as a manure, dry the peel and cut it into small pieces or grind into powder, and sprinkle inside the grow bags. Also liquid fertiliser can be made from this.
Dry 4-5 banana peels and add shells of three eggs in it and grind into fine powder. Add one teaspoon of rock salt in this mixture. Fill a bottle with water and add the mixture and stir thoroughly. Let it settle for some time. After 4-5 hours, filter the solution and pour into a hand sprayer.
Do not directly sprinkle this solution on the plants, but on the soil around the plant bottom. In large farms, the solution can be poured under the plants. This act as an effective growth booster.
