A month goes past since Ockhi traumatised coasts

It has been a month since Cyclone Ockhi devastated the coastal areas of south India. It all began on 30 November with heavy rains and a gale on land; but the actual picture in the sea took long to emerge. Not all fish workers who went out to the sea could return safely to their homes. There are still 143 persons missing and there is no clarity on how many people lost their lives in the sea. The coasts are still grappling with the after effects of the biggest tragedy they have faced after the tsunami.
