Bambolim:  Kerala began their final round in Santosh Trophy with a 4-2 win over Railways.

While Joby Justine scored a hatrick for Kerala, Keralite Rajesh scored both goals for Railways.

Railways took the lead in the 17th minute through Rajesh's goal. However, Joby scored the equaliser for Kerala in the 21st minute.

Joby again scored in the injury time of the first half through a free kick. With this, Kerala was ahead 2-1.

In the second half, Joby scored again to give Kerala a lead of two goals.

Captain Usman scored another goal through a header taking the score to 4-1. 

With just minutes to go before the final whistle, Rajesh scored for Railways once again.

Among the four goals scored by Kerala, three came through headers.

Meanwhile, at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco, Punjab and Mizoram played out a goalless draw that did both of their chances no harm. 

Playing their first game in the tournament, Mizoram would have been happy with a point in their first game while for Punjab, after a win in their opening game, a draw in this game consolidated second place in the group and they remain in contention for a semi-final berth.
