When Ziva sang ‘Ambalappuzhe unnikannanodunee’ some time back , fans had tried to find out who taught the Malayalam song to little Ziva. They had found that it was a Malayalee helper in Dhoni’s house, who taught the song to Ziva.

The song ‘Kanikanum Neram’  was written by the great poet Poonthanam.

The music of the song which we hear today was composed by Devarajan master for the film Omanakuttan. The song was sung by P Leela and Renuka.
