Thiruvananthapuram: SNDP leader Vellapally Natesan on Friday said the BDJS will leave the NDA as the BJP did not show political decency towards Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS).

“There is no point in continuing the NDA under the present circumstances. The BJP will not come to power in the state in the near future,” he added.

“The SNDP does not have politics but has political opinion. Opportunistic politics is happening now. The days of principled politics are over,” he said.

There are indications that NDA Kerala convenor and BDJS president Tushar Vellapally will not participate in the meeting that will be held between the Kerala NDA leadership and Central ministers.

Tushar is remaining aloof as the BJP state leadership did not keep the promises given to the party.
