Thiruvananthapuram: Responding to the threats against writer KP Ramanunni and Assistant Professor at Sree Kerala Varma College  Deepa Nisanth, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the government will take stern action against those behind the threats.

In a Facebook post, Pinarayi said that those who are trying to silence people by issuing threats, are living in a fool's paradise.

"The government will not ignore the threats and attacks against those who act and voice their opinion freely. Our state has the tradition of showing tolerance and respect towards writers and cultural leaders even if they had difference of opinion. The government will take stern action against those who issue such threats", Pinarayi said.
