Kochi: In the incident of actor Fahadh Faasil’s luxury car registration in Puducherry under fake address, the crime branch has decided to add the dealers of the car as accused in the case.

This move comes after recording Fahadh Faasil’s statement.

He had bought two cars, one from Delhi and one from Bengaluru and registered both under fake address in Puducherry to evade road tax in Kerala.

“The dealers had offered a package to register the car and deliver it here. I accepted it. I am not aware of the tax details regarding this,” Fahadh had said to the investigation team.

He also had said that he did not go for buying the car and he doesn’t know anything about tax evasion.

The crime branch team will soon travel to Delhi and Bengaluru to question the dealers in connection with the case.

At the same time, crime branch has also obtained information about some who had approached Fahadh offering to provide Flat in Puducherry so as to escape from the legal actions he is facing due to the registration.
