CPM had not promised anyone that it will open bars: Kodiyeri
Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said Monday that the CPM had not promised anyone that closed bars will be reopened if the LDF comes to power.
Kodiyeri said that the audio clippings that have come out now have been edited.
“ Biju Ramesh is not a spokesman of CPM or LDF. The CPM is not responsible if Biju Ramesh names CPM leaders in his statements,” Kodiyeri said.
However, Kodiyeri said that Biju Ramesh had met him in person.
Kodiyeri demanded that the audio clippings should be released in full.
“Why are the complete voice clippings not released? The audio clippings that have come out now contains matters favourable to the government. The present move is initiated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to sabotage solar case. An ADGP having ties with Congress is behind the edited CD. The released audio clippings reveal the government’s desperate state," Kodiyeri said.
"The Crime Branch registered the case against Sukeshan so that he will not be conferred IPS. Sukeshan was made to submit a report favourable to Mani after he was threatened with the edited voice clippings. The government had taken an action which destroys the morale of the officials. As long as Asif Ali remains as Director General of Prosecution, vigilance case will not register cases against Ministers," he said.
