Alappuzha: SNDP General Secretary Vellapally Natesan on Monday said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unit does not exist in Kerala.

"The BJP leadership is not giving any consideration to us. They did not hold discussions with the SNDP on the selection of candidates. They have always given consideration to a particular group only. The BJP leaders here does not have the will power to understand and act in accordance with the functioning style of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Was any NDA function conducted here?” Vellapally asked.

Pointing out that BJP will not gain foothold in Kerala if it continues with its forward caste agenda, Vellapally said that Kerala BJP is mired in infighting.

"The stand taken by SNDP is that BJP is not a party fit for cooperation. BJP will face a huge defeat in Malappuram. Kunhalikutty will win with a big majority there," he added.
