Akhila case: Kummanam accuses govt of taking soft stand on extremists
Vadakara: BJP State President Kummanam Rajasekharan accused that the state government’s stand against NIA probe into Akhila case is due to their soft stance towards terrorists.
"The government compromises with the extremists. They have to clarify the reason for taking the stand that no probe is necessary in the case. Many evidences had been produced before the High Court proving the extremist links of Shefin Jahan, who converted Akhila from her religion, which the government ignored. The left and right wing political fronts are responsible for nurturing the Jihadi terrorists, by ignoring the threat they raise. Both the political fronts, who compromise with the extremists, are dangerous for the state," he pointed out.
Kodiyeri Balakrishnan’s statement that BJP will not grow where CPM exists, is a warning to Congress. CPM is not capable to fight BJP alone, and they are trying to ally with Congress. BJP has a strong hold in all the places where CPM exists," Kummanam said.
He asked whether CPM exists in any place where BJP is present.
Kummanam added that the huge crowd who joined Janaraksha Yatra despite the downpour, represents the entire Kerala. He was speaking at the reception given to Janaraksha Yatra in Vadakara. It was the first reception programme in Kozhikode district. Many leaders of BJP including Minority Morcha National President Abdul Rasheed Ansari, Richard Hay MP, Adv. P. Sreedharan pillai, V. Muraleedharan, M. T. Ramesh and Sobha Surendran addressed the audience.
