Kochi: Public Prosecutor N K Unnikrishnan on Thursday said there were seven evidences to prove that guilty Ameer Ul Islam was at the law student’s house in Perumbavoor.

“The charges were filed, including 195 witnesses in the case. In this 100 were examined and there was no situation of anyone being untrustworthy,” he said.

Unnikrishnan added that the circumstantial evidences and scientific evidences were crucial. The neighbours identified Ameer who was seen exiting the student’s house on the day of the incident.

“Ameer’s DNA was found from the student’s dress. Also the student had bitten him. The communication between Ameer and his friends after the incident played as evidence,” he added.

Unnikrishnan also told Mathrubhumi News that Ameer can speak Hindi and Malayalam.
