I stand by my heart, so nothing disturbs me: Mohanlal
Actor Mohnalal has given a philosophical response to those who censured him for the articles on his blog.
“I’m unbiased and my opinions are interpreted by different persons according to their prerequisites. Whatever abuse they may shower, I will stand firm on my words and nothing can shake me,” he wrote in his official blog, The Complete Actor.
In the write-up titled Vietnamile Bhikshuvinte Vazhikal (Zen Buddhist way of “Mindfulness”) the actor is talking about Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist, and his books ‘At Home in the World’ and Old Path White Clouds.’
“Once I started writing the blog, I have aired my opinion on several matters. All these were written by standing in the middle of human beings. However, my words were interpreted differently. Like Hanh, I belong to the centre -- unbiased,” says Mohanlal.
Listen to the blog in Mohanlal's voice:
Quoting the monk, Lal says sometimes people have a certain idea or way of looking at things and they want you to put in a box.
“Some congratulate me while some wish to pick up a quarrel. Few others shower verbal abuses on me. On every occasion, like Thich Nhat Hanh, I stand by my heart -- unmoved during the wildest of gales. Hence nothing disturbs me. Everything passes so calmly,” he adds.
