Drumstick is an extremely popular vegetable across South India. There are so many South Indian dishes in which drumstick is the main ingredient. Let's try a soup recipe using drumsticks. 

Ingredients
Drumsticks - 4 
Garlic - 4 cloves (finely chopped)
Shallot- 4 cloves (finely chopped)
Black pepper powder - 2 tbspn
Ghee - As required
Salt - As required
Sugar - As required

Preparation
Clean the drumsticks by removing the skin and pressure cook it for 5-6 minutes with half cup of water. After allowing it to cool, pulse it for few times in a blender until it becomes thick juice. Take a large bowl and place the metal strainer over it to sieve the juice. Add three-and-a-half cup of water into this juice and boil. Saute finely chopped garlic and shallot in ghee and add it to the mixture. Add salt, a pinch of sugar and black pepper powder as per your taste. Serve hot on a bowl.
