Vegetable Korma is a common dish made at almost all homes. But today, lets try a variety in Korma using fruits.


Apple, Pineapple, Mango (cut into small square pieces) – 2 cup

Pomegranate seeds – ½ cup

Cashew nuts – 15 to 20 nos

Cashew nuts (soaked in milk/water) – 12 nos

Raisin – 20 to 25 nos

Onion (sliced and fried) – 1 no

Green chili – 3 nos

Cinnamon sticks – 1 piece

Bay leaf – 1 no

Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

Pepper powder (white) – ¼ tsp

Cumin powder – ¼ tsp

Coconut powder – 4 tsp

Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Salt, Water, Oil – Accordingly


Cook the apple, pineapple and mango in little water. Add turmeric powder, salt and green chilies to it.

Add the fried onion and soaked cashew nuts in a mixer grinder and grind well.
In a pan, heat a small amount of oil and add bay leaf and cinnamon sticks.  To this add cashew nuts and then raisins and fry well.

Now add the mixed item and cumin powder, pepper powder and curry leaves to the pan.

Once boiled well, add the cooked fruits to it and mix well and boil for two minutes.

Lower the flame and add the coconut powder solution to it. When it starts boiling, remove from the flame.

Now garnish with pomegranate seeds.

Fruit Korma is ready to serve.
