Spot admission for degree courses at Kerala University
Thiruvananthapuram: A spot admission will be conducted to fill up the vacant seats in first year degree courses for the year 2017-18 in government, aided, self-financing colleges and also UITs and IHRD colleges affiliated to the University of Kerala.
The sport admission will be held at the respective colleges from 9 am to 11 am on October 9, said a release.
A rank list will be prepared on the basis of candidates turning up for spot admission and the admission will be conducted from 12 pm onwards. The candidates or their nominees can take part in the admission.
The candidates attending the spot admission should carry all original certificates including the transfer certificate. The candidates, who seek admission under reservation seats should produce requisite certificates. No additional time will be given to produce the same.
The students, who had given options for courses in government and aided colleges in their online application will only be considered for spot admission. However, in UITs and self-financing colleges, after admitting those made online registration, unregistered candidates and students seeking admission under management quota will also be considered.
Students securing admission should remit the prescribed fees (Rs 840 for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and Rs 1525 for others.)
All candidates should strictly bring the printout of online application. The details of vacant seats will be published on the website, http://admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in.
