Post Graduate Diploma in Youth Development at RGNIYD
Sriperumbudur: The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), an Institution of National Importance established by the Act of Parliament, located at Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu-602105, has invited applications for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Youth Development.
RGNIYD had launched the Post-Graduate Diploma in Youth Development (PGDYD) to train and develop work force in the country who will work for youth development. The prime objective of this Programme is to train thousands of professionals in the area of youth development across the nation with scientific knowledge and specific models of youth work. This Programme also targets, workforce already working in the area of youth development in equipping knowledge and skills to work with youth more scientifically. Medium of instruction will be in English.
Eligibility: Applicant should be a graduate in any stream from a recognised university.
Duration: One can complete the programme within one year. If he/she will not be able to complete the Programme within a year, maximum of two years can be utilised. After two years of registration, the validity will expire and the registration will become invalid.
Mode of Delivery: The programme is on offer through ‘Convergence Mode’ in collaboration educational institutions in India. List of selected partners is given in the notification available at http://www.rgniyd.gov.in/
Facilitation: The learners will be facilitated with Self-Instructional Material (SIM), and field activity manual. The learners will be supervised for their field work by qualified supervisors and counseling sessions will be conducted by qualified educators in the area.
Fee: Fee is Rs.5000 per year (on time payment). Registration Fee is Rs.200 , Examination Fee is Rs. 800 (Total Fee Rs. 6000 as one-time payment). Programme Fee for RGNIYD students and Staff Rs.4200.
