Management admission for BHMS in Telengana
Telangana: KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal, Telangana-506007 has invited applications for admission into Management Quota seats (B- Category and C- Category) in Private Un-aided Non-Minority Homeo Colleges for BHMS Course for the academic year 2017-18 under KNR UHS, Warangal.
B Category seats are Management seats (35% of the sanctioned intake of the seats) and C Category seats are the 15% Management NRI quota seats.
The probable number of seats under management quota is as follows:
- JIMS Homeo College, Shamshabad Hyderabad (Total 100 seats, B Category-35 seats, C Category-15 seats)
- MNR Homeo College.Sangareddy (100, 22, 15)
- Hamsa Homeo College (100, 35, 15)
Eligibility: Those from any part of the country are eligible for admission. Foreign Students/NRI candidates are eligible for admission into AYUSH Courses under Management Quota Category-C Seats.
Applicant should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2017. Those born on or after 02-01-2001 are not eligible for admission into AYUSH Courses.
Applicant should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English. OC candidates should have obtained not less than 50% marks; BC/SC/ST candidates not less than 40% marks and OC PH candidates, not less than 45% marks in science subjects.
Applicant should have qualified at NEET UG-2017, securing cut-off scores as follows. General category-131 marks, SC/ST/BC-107 marks and Persons with Disability-118 marks.
Those who have already applied for Convener Quota Seats in response to the University’s earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota seats. They have to apply afresh.
Those possessing qualification of the University/Board of an institution outside the Telangana State or outside India should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate as specified in the Prospectus.
Application can be submitted at http://tsbhmsmq.tsche.in, till 5 pm on 11-10-2017.
Provisional merit list will be displayed on KNRUHS, website www.knruhs.in on 12-10-2017.
Seats will be filled as per merit, from candidates who have qualified in NEET UG-2017, through counseling by the Committee for Admissions,
Certificate verification and on-line counseling will be held from 9.00 am on 13-10- 2017 at PGRRCDE, OU-Campus, Hyderabad. Printout of application along with enclosures should be submitted at the time of verification of original certificates. Candidates should be present with parent/guardian, when called in the order of rank/merit. They should bring all Original Certificates, Tuition fee and University Fee. If a candidate fails to be present he/she will be declared absent and the next candidate in the merit will be considered. Custodian certificate will not be permitted. Candidates who fail to produce or to submit original certificates or university fee will not be considered for counseling. Such Candidates will be declared absent and the next candidate in the merit will be considered.
If a candidate after admission in to a College wants to withdraw from the course, before commencement of second counseling he / she should obtain ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the Principal of the college concerned and shall submit the same to the convener, committee of admissions for cancellation of seat. Approval of committee is mandatory for candidate to withdraw from the course. Vacant seats after first round of counseling will be filled up in subsequent rounds of counseling. Date, Time and Venue of Counseling will be notified by the Committee for Admissions on KNR UHS website. Candidates have to join the course by submission of all Original Certificates to the Principal.
