Recent findings of NASSCOM and ASSOCHAM reveals that of the eight lakh engineering graduates who pass out from the country annually, employability rate is only 33 percent in the Country. There exist huge skill gap beween available and required skills. Poor communication, English proficiency and softskills affect the employability of 8 lakh engineering graduates per year. In order to succeed in the career market, engineering degree requires some value-added programmes. Usually bright students opt of M.Tech programmes after getting good GATE scores, some may write CAT and opt for Management programmes in Indian Institute of Management and some other premier Business Schools. Few students who may aspire for education abroad may write IELTS/TOEFL/GMAT/GRE and opt for MS/MBA programme abroad. Some of the students opt for preparing Civil Services Examinations.
