“I’ll recommend Parvathy, if my work is turned into film,” says M. Mukundan
Literary legend M. Mukundan opined that he will recommend actress Parvathy, if any of his works is turned into a movie.
"She is a versatile actor of Malayalam film industry. Her films ‘Bangalore Days’ and ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ are examples of her versatility," he said during an interview given to Mathrubhumi Weekly.
“I like her for another reason too. She is an actor with reading habit. If any of my stories or novels is turned into a movie, I will recommend Parvathy,” he said. While answering another question, he said that ‘superstar’ is an unnecessary title, and it will belittle the talented actors,
The writer opined that there are no classic movies in Malayalam film industry. "There are classic songs, classic cinematography and classic acting in Malayalam cinema, but no trace of a classic movie," he added.
