16 feet-long king cobra caught from Thenmala forest range

Kulathupuzha (Kollam): A huge king cobra was caught from the shrubs along the road in front of Thenmala-Shendurney forest range office.

The king cobra had been found on a tree near the shrubs for a few days, posing threat to the passersby.

The forest officers contacted well-known snake catcher Vava Suresh for help.

The 16-feet-long female snake is about 11-year-old.

Vava Suresh said that it was the 123rd king cobra he has caught.
